tbh until s6, my hero was an anime i did think was overhyped, where some bits like the stein arc i thought was top tier, and other stuff i werent all that fussed with and id have given it a 7/10, then since shigirakis flashback ep, this anime became a different beast for me man like the only two shows close to this for me the last few years are abyss s2 and link click s2. will be a top 5er for me if season 7 follows suit which lets be honest it's going to

As @Saleem mentioned, only at 1:28:18 when Khan was rewatching did i notice THAT was the first time Bakugo has addressed Deku by his real name 'Izuku' What a genuine moment, how Midoriya's eyes widen in disbelief. You know a story is done right when one of its highlights comes down to a simple 'I'm sorry' broke me there and then, the Kid we were convinced in the beginning was nothing but a bully and was destined to be a Villain. Humility suits Bakugo in way i feel none of us were ready for. 'Kohei Horikoshi' (i had to look up the author out of damn respect for this beautiful story telling!) has an amazing way of tying character arcs and development into these huge emotional moments. What a show. Glad to be on this journey with you all! I'm also curious as to where BNH currently ranks in Khan's top 10...

As far as I remember he started calling him "Deku" as a nickname for a useless person and now he got the conviction to speak his mind and calls him by his first name.

2024-04-29 13:16:54 +0000 UTCThe most beautiful but subtle thing about episode 23 is Deku realizing DANGER SENSE never once activated when his friends were trying to capture him. It would have activated if they had even 1% malice in their hearts, or were coming at him with bad intent. Deku realizing danger sense never activated once because even though they were attacking him, it was because they cared about him so deeply, is heartwarming.

This is the first time he calls him "Izuku" and not "Deku". and notice how All for one said "Next, it's your turn" this is parallel to All Might saying same thing after he beat All for one in Season 3
