2024-04-22 12:55:06 +0000 UTCBy the way khan that uravity scene, I interpreted it as the story showing us the slow beginning of what stain was saying being shown right in front of us clearly, people now are being heroes not for the duty, passion, and responsibility behind it but for the money or benefits they get from it. As would stain label them โfake heroesโ to me thats the scene where I genuinely see where he was coming from and his words are becoming a reality and that these โfake heroesโ are becoming more and more common and will make society crumble and rot . A hero, in the midst of calamity, literally is rethinking his life decisions and says yeah this โjobโ aint for me. Well as a hero it should be your duty to serve and put your life on the line, it aint your 9 to 5 job. Itโs a life and death duty so to label it as โjobโ defo reminded me of stainโs ideology of a fake hero. Just to give a real life example, I work in the engineering field, computer specifically, back in my fathers days where he studied engineering, the people with him were gonna do engineering things whether or not theyโll go to uni or not, thats how passionate they were to engineering and how committed they were to spend the rest of their lives in this industry, not mainly for the money. However, when I came to study computer engineering five years ago, there were many people when I asked them for their reason in choosing computer engineering, they simply said โfor the moneyโ they did not care about the material weโre studying and they were always the ones who cheated their way through tasks and responsibilities and never appreciate the things they are learning or doing, and when I saw this uravity scene it reminded me of them, are they truly considered engineers or are they โfake engineersโ๐คฃ that pursued this path just to for the money and benefits just like this hero in this scene, soon as he realized the challenges of being a hero, he buckled and decided to leave this as if it was a 9 to 5 job at a fast food joint. The lesson I learned from stain really changed my perspective in some things in life and I feel like the lesson he is trying to convey to the watchers is really important
