Toriyama's work became popular culture, this man inspired some of the authors (like Oda and Kishi). This man just made me LOVE a silly boy looking for Seven balls. This man gave me everything without even knowing..... You may rest in peace Akira, you'll never be forgotten, and your work will remain eternal.

But now has an adult, I feel like manga is my weekly dose of medication wich never fails to give me back my smile, even in the bad weeks that we all have. So personnaly I wish we would stop comparing every manga, and just be gratefull for those weekly dose of emotion and entertainment that they provide us. So RIP to a legend who gave a smile to children and adult all around the world. The first Joyboy in a way. The Man fueled and brought so much imagination to all our childhoods, ALL the way into our teens and Beyond..It's hard not to be sad, But if we want to talk about leaving a LEGACY! Mr Toriyama's Heart, Mind & Soul will always be present when we and future generations open up his Manga, watch his Anime, play his games, listen to his OST's...my friend put it perfectly 'Dude, every fucking day I still think about going Super Saiyan'.. Millions of people including me were introduced to Japan thanks to DB, making us want to visit and even live here. He's basically carried Japan on his back for a few decades. I mean if a Whitebeard-type human existed in the manga and anime industry, it was probably him. My god what a legend

We'd probably not have series like One Piece, Yu Yu Hakusho, HxH, Naruto, Hero, JJK etc... if it were not for him. The original Dragonball series, followed by Dragonball Z were my actual first anime which i love to this day. RIP to the legend. I bet that Oda will probably pay his respect to Toriyama by drawing a cover page in tribute of him.

My experience with toriyama is the same as billions as well, I watched his work at a young age and was heavily inspired by it that now I’m working on creating my own story for the past 3 years and its literally because of how iconic and awe inspiring his work was. His great works and the inspiration he left in us will live on forever❤️ thank you toriyama san for doing all that you have done🥲
