2024-03-02 23:02:48 +0000 UTCI wouldn't take these CR awards seriously. They've been meme'd for years now and still is lol. Vinland Saga Season 2 should've been AOTY 100%. Name me a series that had amazing and in-depth character growth such as thorfinn and olmar. Olmar was a big surprise for me, as i did not expect much from his character in the beginning. He goes from wanting to venture off and live the life of a warrior TO then seeing the brutality of war and wanting nothing of it. I love at the end of the arc, he goes up to thorfinn to thank him for everything he did and tells him that he wants to be kind and strong person just like he is. a "real man" in his own words. Not only that, but season 2 had great side characters, beautiful and tragic stories, and one of the best conclusion to an arc. Seeing Thorfinn come full circles and finally understanding what his father told him at the very beginning of the series was probably one of the BEST moments in storytelling ever. Anyways, ill do the honors for vinland saga. BEST ANIME OF 2023 GOES TO... VINLAND SAGA SEASON 2!

There were no episodes that were "only 30% done" like jjk. Vinland was the complete package from start to finish.
