It probably sounds crazy saying this but I've seen 100 episodes of Clover, and not even that long ago, but I can barely remember anything and nothing left an impact apart from a few scenes. My memory of it is honestly foggy. On the other hand MHA is one of my favorites and I could probably recite every big scene from it. I know it sounds nuts but I wish I could see Clover how Khan sees it lol, it was enjoyable but I just couldn't click with it at all.

2024-02-20 11:44:41 +0000 UTCBut Khan the fights in Hero are story driven, it's not like your watching a show with 10 straight minutes of fight, where the only purpose is who's going to win. For example the highlight in Deku vs Todoroki isn't One For All vs ice and fire, the highlight is the internal struggle of Todoroki with his father, his mom, and how he doesn't want to use his fire power because of that trauma, and how Deku has a fledgling hero helps him overcome that. So when Todoroki finally decides to use the fire you feel hype, but it's because of the story behind it. Same goes with All might vs All For One the main focus is story, you learn that All For One killed Alll might master, finally to have the revelation that Shigaraki is the grandson of All Might master, following by All might's true form finally being revealed to the world. This fight marks the end of an era with All might losing the last amber of his power, and All for One being arrested. Which leads to Deku and Shigaraki being the next symbol of peace and symbol of fear. Lastly Endeavor vs Nomu, this fight is all about changing your opinion of Endeavor. During this fight half of the time we are with people in the streets and the Todorki family, all of that leading to us the reader, the society to finally accept him has the number one hero; and for the Todoroki family to start their journey towards future forgiveness for Endeavor. I could continue and do it for every fight, but I'm going to stop here I'm pretty sure people get my point of view. It's not about how pretty or epic the fights are, no it's about making the story move foward and deepening our knowledge of the characters background thanks to the fights. Fights are just tools, of course the result depends on how they're used.

However for me Clover’s highlight is the story, i can’t explain enough how much i loved the elf reincarnation arc in Clover. The whole arc i felt was based on putting story first. I still love hero man.

This comment is all love btw, no hate, but do you guys think clover can compare since he rates it above my hero? My hero has had so many amazing episodes and is so consistent: deku v bakugo 1st time, todoroki vs deku, deku vs muscular, stain vs iida midoriya and todoroki, all might vs all for one, deku vs bakugo 2, kirishima and fatgum vs those villains, lemillion vs overhaul, deku vs overhaul, endavour vs nomu and im sure there's more im forgetting. Anyway, I feel this comment is going to get hate but I want to check if anyone feels the same. End of the day he enjoys what he enjoys and like i said its all love

Also like that the filler doesn’t feel out of place and you could even believe it as canon without knowing. Also endeavour is a goat character written so well with his whole family storyline

I just wanted you to know that I agree with Mokhie, and that after you finish reacting to season 5, you absolutely need to read the last arc of season 5 but in it's manga version. This arc was not done justice by the anime, they interverted the last two arc of season 5, and they even skipped few pages of it, that they didn't even bother to adapt in anime. That is why if you truly want to understand what's going on, and where the story is heading. I strongly feel that you need to read it, of course you don't need to do a live reaction of it, you can read it on your own or do a live stream on twitch. It doesn't matter to me, just do what's easy for you.
