What Vilk and I have been up to in Italy so far 🏔️

As I promised to all of you during the Patreon live meet-up, I'm sharing a few photos from the last two weeks in Italy:

- A few photos from my recent hikes and runs with Vilk! The setting is the Gran Sasso National Park, with its dramatic peaks and fantastic weather. We had one day of snow high up on the mountain, but other than that, it's been sunny and beautiful.

- In one of the photos, there's a building behind us: a local rifugio, or a mountain shelter, run by the Italian Alpine Association. Plenty of these rifugios are scattered all over the mountain, and many remain open year-round to visitors (you can stay inside, but there are no services, of course).

- On hikes, you often see these little shrines dotting the trail, showing depictions of the Virgin Mary.

- Sweeping vistas for days! The two epic drone photos show the Campo Imperatore, a massive plateau just an hour from my house, known as the Tibet of Italy.

- A medieval village perched on the side of a mountain. This is Santo Stefano di Sessanio - you'll see more of it in next week's video! This village is also about an hour away from where I am, and it's an absolute gem that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time several hundred years.

Also... I know I was meant to share a special update yesterday but due to some technical trouble, I'll be sharing it tomorrow :)
