Rewatching vinland saga s1 up to ep 10 so far. One thing that's really caught my eye is the similarities of how Thors and The Thorfinn of s2 act. Its like Thorfinn is trying to completely follow in his dads way of living and that is incredible because When Thors saved the slave at the start of s1 and before the slave died he said that poem telling him about the land of vinland. Thorfinn did the same just before arnheid died. Just a couple episodes of seeing Thors again and I honestly think he's top 3 characters of this series because of his way of living is completely different to that of the men of war and the fact that he's the strongest aswell yet he is such a peaceful person you gotta love this character. When Thors got ambushed by askelaads crew, 28 were injured by Thors however he did not kill one person. He even saved someone he threw off board into the water by throwing them a wooden plank to keep them from drowning. And the fact that thorfinn seems to follow in his footsteps in s2 is just so good to see. The development of his character is insane. I'm starting to rlly understand how good this anime actually is.

Don't get me wrong, i love the fighting and war aspect in vinland but even so its about the story and the characters that make me want to watch certain animes. I respect your opinion tho.

2023-05-23 01:28:58 +0000 UTCin my opinion you should continue with the manga, even if a third season is announced, waiting for so long will make the passion cold over time, vinland has as its main focus a story full of emotions and lessons that will fall into oblivion for those that just watch the anime over time. reading is an eternal learning process, no one forgets a story they've already read and I love this story so much that I don't want it to be forgotten

He's actually a bit different from other mangaka cuz he is personally active on Twitter and interacts with fans even from the west. I follow his account. He's a great person. Manga seems most likely, lets be honest, we not going to get any s3 news within the year. Hope it does badly but we both know its just too good to be true. So manga it is then. Seeing the character growth and the reasoning for their growth is just amazing. Man manga will be an option if there isn’t any news on a s3 within a year from this season ending.
