I'm really not a fan of the new anime style which is seemingly just copying demon slayer with all of the over the top animation and bright colors flying around everywhere all the time, personally seems to clash with Oda's original art, but I do know a lot of people enjoy it

Khan quick question. After all that you’ve read is manga is Luffy now your favourite anime character. For me he’s pretty much replaced Naruto literally from the moment gear 5 was shown. That was luffys peak. Where all that we’ve loved about him was expressed into that form. But I wonder is that the same for you?

The original comment by Emre Garam did not assert that someone from 800 years ago DID the action, only that a user of Law's fruit 800 years ago COULD perform the action IF they wanted to. Yes it is stated in the manga that Law's fruit is capable of performing the surgery to make someone immortal, at the cost of the user's life. And fruit powers don't change, so if it's true that Law could do it, that means anyone in the past with the fruit could also do it. Yes including someone from 800 years ago. If you still don't understand this then yes you really do lack basic reading comprehension Pedro.

Hey Khan just a few things you might have missed. "The Previous Dynasty" is referring to the Ancient Kingdom that's been talked about through the whole series. Also Mjosgard is a Celestial Dragan from the Donquixote Family and he didn't want Shirahoshis brother to get in trouble for hitting the other Celestial Dragon, Carlos, so he told the Tontatas and Sai to do it, since there pirates and not rulers. Sai was at the Reverie supporting his countrys ruler, Don Chinjao. Also Donquixote Mjosgard was the same Celestial Dragon in the Fishman Island Flashback when Queen Otohime gave her blood to save Mjosgard's life, so Mjosgard is trying to protect Shirahoshi

@Netsureim114 Imu is not Lily, because of Imu’s reaction when they learned about Lily passing down a letter. Remember, Imu was listening in the Chamber of Flowers the entire time. Imu only took action once Cobra began talking about the letter, this revelation seemed to trigger Imu and thus coming in person. If Imu was Lily, why would she leave a letter about the D? That’s basically a paper trail lead to expose herself. Why would Lily do this to intentionally have people question the world while she’s playing as Imu? Imu and Lily are two different people. One thing that’s possible is that Lily’s body is a vessel for Imu’s personality. Due to the Immortal stuff with the Op Op fruit. That’s a possibility.

What if the whole story we have been told so far about the 20 nations coming together were somewhat of a lie? What if Lily was refusing to join them because she didn't want the nations to be equal thus she refused to join to become a Celestial Dragons, she wanted to become the strongest ruler of every nation. What if the Celestial Dragons and WG were meant to be actually good but turned corrupt by Lili? Hence why there isnt a weapon at the throne? Funny enough Imu Sama has a sword as we know (when the wanted posters and pictures were cut up). It would explain why she took Vivis picture at the end. The letter she passed down was more of a safety measure cause she knew that the D were her "enemies", she didn't fully understood what the Ds truly are. Also i believe that the OP OP's eternal youth surgery was performed on her. IF not it has to be her younger brother, it's odd how they say her "younger brother" and didn't really mention anything else of him here.

I think what’s going on here is that Lily was the PREVIOUS owner of the Ope Ope Fruit and when she left to return to Alabasta she was captured by Imu. They used the immortality surgery on Imu and that’s where we are today with Imu, this is how Imu lived so long. IF Imu was Lily, then don’t you guys think she would had destroyed Alabasta by now? Think now that descendants of the Nefetari family (Cobra & Vivi) are rising up and beginning to question the ways of the world they’re threats and need to be lights that are extinguished. This way Imu can live on in peace while ruling the world in the shadows. One other thing that I point out is that for this chapter Oda intentionally drew the Shonen Jump cover page of Luffy sitting on a throne holding a skull that says “King”, then drew a color page of all the females with Nami wearing a shirt labeled as “Weather Queen”. And the last page of the chapter is Imu sitting on the throne. SO….In my opinion this seems to be Oda hinting/foreshadowing that Imu is a Queen ruling the world and the ones who will overthrow her will be Luffy and Nami.

I totally respect that and even Oda stated that she is a woman through a vivre card. I never understood people telling the literal creator he is wrong. I mean if someone in real life wants to be called differently because that person feels that way, I would respect that. But this is fiction and from overseas, people are pushing western ideas onto his work and he probably doesnt care, just like 99% of the readers.
