As an avid fan of the wheel of time series, it was an abomination what Amazon did to it, and I would rather not have that associated with one of the greatest series of all time. Just like this, I don't want this sure disaster to tarnish Oda's legacy in any way.

There’s no benefit for me to trash a show that doesn’t even have a trailer yet. One piece fans SHOULD want the best for this show, even though anime live actions have a poor track record.

Something as goofy as One Piece definitely won’t work. But hopefully with Oda helping with production it will at least be watchable. Even the show just being decent would be a massive improvement or some of the live action adaptations out there.

I mean, when you look at the beginning of the chapters, in Oda's notes, he's always talking about the things he gets to do, like concerts, traveling for the live action, etc
