I don't think it's our place to convince Khan about stuff like this, the best we can do is give him the facts about the different ways to consume the manga and their tradeoffs. He can balance risking getting spoiled / waiting for quality, he's the one who has the most experience with this, not us. Whatever gives him the most enjoyment is best. Anyways, I'd assume once he catches up he'll do more streams and people will try and convince him to read the way they want him to read.

My only points here is that Khan’s understanding of the Spoilers/Viz situation is incorrect. Khan stated that he was told spoilers come out on Wednesdays. And the Viz translations come out on Saturdays. Those are both incorrect information. I get it though tho, Khan probably got confused and mixed it the days up. That’s fine it happens. Like I agree that Khan should do whatever he feels like doing. However, I think there is a bigger picture here that a lot of people are missing…. Khan not like other One Piece reactors, people intentionally try to spoil this man on daily basis. So I think the mods needs to reiterated to Khan on how the spoilers/scans/Viz works because he seems confused. I think if Khan fully grasps the situation he’ll understand that he NEEDS to be reading on the scan days because, not only will it be good for his community, but more importantly it would be healthier for Khan. Khan wouldn’t have to deal with the burden of trying to avoid spoilers every day of his life like he does now. If he at least avoids spoilers between Sunday-Tuesday and reads on Wednesday/Thursday then Khan can be more at ease with his own personal life. Again I really think the mods need to explain to Khan why he should read it as soon as possible and then he can go back on Sundays to compare the translations. Truthfully you can send him my comments as well if it needs to be explained more clearly.

He's known about the spoilers, OPScans and TCB for many weeks now, including when they come out and the differences between them. We leave it completely up to him to decide what to go with, but as he mentioned it in a few reactions, he wants to go with VIZ even if there is a higher chance of getting spoiled. If you ask me personally, I'd want him to always read the fastest fan translation that's good enough quality to avoid getting spoiled as much as possible. Anyways, it's his decision to make.

2023-03-15 03:25:25 +0000 UTCMods, can you please explain to Khan on how to properly read the weekly chapters and avoid spoilers because at the end of the video he was incorrect. - Spoilers come out late Sunday - Tuesday Morning. - Scanlation chapters come out on Wednesday and Thursday, depending on the which scan. - Official comes out Sunday For Khan to stay consistent with reading the official Viz chapters, he would have to stay off the internet/social media for the whole week. IMO best solution should be have Khan read the scan on Thursday and then try reread the official on Sunday to compare. That way he at least has some more freedom and a few days he wouldn’t have to worry about new spoilers since they won’t come out until usually after the Viz chapter releases.
