Viz "official" translations often feel tone deaf and too refined which throws off the flow of chapters for me at times because certain things said seem out of character. One example of them being too refined is the spelling of "Zolo", yes officially this is correct but the people working at TCB would never make what I consider such an obvious blunder. So I'd say while TCB might not be 100% accurate officially, they tailor the translations to what the characters would realistically be saying. Anyway, I didn't think so many people would disagree with me, you guys are right in that I don't know Japanese and so can't say for certain whether I'm right, and this is just a subjective preference I guess so it is what it is, not a big deal

He's literally reading the most accurate one which is the official by viz and the same used for the physical version in english. People only read TCB because they're the fastest one to release the chapter at high quality with good scans and tl. You should never read the TCB version if the viz is out.

For example, instead here where king says " so you intend to be a king then" and luffy saying "the world's greatest swordsman. That's great!! and it's fitting since your new boss is going to be the king of the pirates" TCB translate it accurately and it reads like this, king says "so you've also got kingly ambitions" and luffy says "the world's greatest swordsman? Thats perfect! The future king of the pirates wouldnt settle for anything less"

I don't want to be annoying cause others have said it in the comments, but I figured if it's in a couple comments you will definitely see it and tell Khan. Thanks for the great content as always!

So I went back to the Zoro flashback episode to see if it was called Frost Moon or Shimotsuki village, and yes I saw the same crest that was on Ushimaru's back....but that's not all. When Zoro and Kuina first fight, during Zoro's challenge of the dojo, he picks like 9 bamboo sticks and stuffs them in his hands and mouth, Kuina wrecks him and he drops them all....then Zoro in desperation, grabs 2 and gets into a pose.....YO THIS IS CRAZY, both Kuina and, ESPECIALLY, the sensei, are like "2 sword style, have you trained with that before" and Zoro says no. The sensei mumbles to himself and smiles, "two swords style, huh?" And laughs!!!!! USHIMARU WAS A 2 SWORDS STYLE USER!!!!!

These 2 chapters are covering some parts of the novel. The panels were drawn by the author of Dr stone, Boichi. His art style is pretty unique and it looks incredible. I'd suggest to read them later after catching up with the current chapter.

Imagine if you've moved to the manga like Khan and you're wanting to share your thoughts with other people who may have done the same and you're presented with people throwing out chapter numbers like no tomorrow. Just cause Khan's moved to the manga to avoid spoilers doesn't mean the line in which you can say stuff has changed, you don't give episode numbers on his anime reactions so don't give chapter numbers for his manga reactions for him or anybody else who might be passing through. Though unfortunately this patreon seems to be filled with people who have the brain capacity of a withered potato.
