High quality flash animation. The characters didn't mesh well with the background. A lot of the time it looked like they were floating on top of whatever the current scenery was. The faces also looked flat and devoid of personality. The show looks better in stills than in a video form.

In China, Donghua not only refers to Chinese animation but animation in general regardless of origin, whereas outside of China, only Chinese animation is called Donghua. Regardless the actual name for Chinese anime is Donghua, not that it necessarily matters
