Duuude in the Manga we didnt saw Kaidos for like 10 chapters straight, some thing like that. But the content of those were as good/crazy as Kaido vs Luffy :D

It's better to think of the anime as a different version of the manga, not a final version. Even Oda himself said he thinks of it as a different thing.
