It's kind of Ironic that you say that about Bleach when in FT they trained for 3 days yet they were able to compete with people who were training for 7 years and not only compete with them, ONE SHOT them. Laxus one shooting Jura for example, how does that make sense? based on feelings? there's a limit to magic and body stamina bud. In bleach they clearly stated that Ichigo has immense reiatsu and he can't fully control it yet, and they even precise that he has hidden talents which he isn't able to fully master. Chad was born strong (just like Ichigo) and Orihime never did anything amazing just from the fact that she relies on her power too much and still was going to be killed by that weak shinigami if it wasn't for Ishida saving her. Besides, natural-born geniuses are a real thing which is the case for Ichigo. Fairy Tail is just badly written that's why the author just puts the power of feelings to cover that part.

And yeah, magic in ft is based on feelings and we have that mages training their whole lives/being raised by other mages/dragons. In bleach we have ordinary 15 years students who in month are fighting adults from other dimensions in life/death situations. Thats only 1 strange thing to me, despite that i love bleach. Peace

Ichigo makes sense because of his immense spiritual power combined with the special training he received from that special dude. He's obviously got way more talent and it's been hinted from the start when rukia gave him her powers and she was impressed how he was so good.

2022-06-16 18:39:54 +0000 UTCIn fairness Chad hits hard naturally and tanks hard naturally, a metal beam fell on the dude and the beam looked worse than Chad ended up, plus the dude's faced fodder up til now. Orihime got fodderised by a 4th seat with relative ease and Ichigo naturally has huge reserves of energy, he broke out of a kido spell before he became a soul reaper and had so much power that he drained Rukia of hers, he was even capable of injuring and knocking Renji back before he trained with Kisuke and then when he did, for 10 days, it allowed him to not only strengthen his fighting skill and experience but to learn how to channel his energy better. In terms of the info you have right now, plus it being a shonen, it makes sense to me the power scaling based on the feats and rules/explanations Kubo gave to the audience in terms of how his universe works. Jidanbo was a gate guard, not a lieutenant or captain or even a 3rd or 4th seat, the dude could've been defending a gate for 300+ years against nothing but ruffians and lowlifes during a peaceful period.

Like how 15 years old kids who trained 1 month can beat all grown up soul reapers from other dimensions who trained their whole lives(gate keeper even 300 years+). Even if Ichigo has some hidden soul powers, how is he able to keep his movements vs oponents, like dodging, swinging sword etc. he only hold sword in hands for month after all. I only understand Ishida power level because he is raised by powerful quincy. I cant understand ichigo, chad and orihime being so powerful did I missed something or what?
