2022-04-09 18:51:31 +0000 UTCpersonally I think it has a nostalgia factor for a lot of people and also its easy to get attached to the characters so makes you stick around for the entire show to see what they get up to. FT does feels and emotional scenes really well so if you enjoy stories about family/friendship bonds then its so easy to love ft imo. Not liking ft comes from holding it to the standards of other animes, but if you just take it for what it is then its just a really comforting and fun series

2022-04-09 16:21:27 +0000 UTCI used to like FT a lot when I was around 15-16yo so I thought it's just a show that young audience will enjoy, but later on found out that a lot of adults and long time anime fans like FT as well. I don't care what people watch or enjoy, everybody should watch what they like, but I like to at least understand why they like and enjoy certain stuff and fairy tail is one of those anime, where I just couldn't figure it out.

I would say ignore what other ppl say this is not a competition on who has the best top 10 anime list. Its just entertainment like live action TV and movies no need to take it seriously. I laugh at ppl who get offended or mock other ppls favourite series. Whether you have OP, FT or Berserk as your favourite its not that deep

Not everything has to have amazingly intricate and detailed writing like AOT to be someone's favourite.
