PLaying catch up on this after a friend recommended it and Khan mentioning it in his ds reactions. Really great anime the animatioin style reminds me of 60s disney films like sword in the stone. They didn't show it but remember kid Miranjo with deida said the villagers cut off her hands and also peeled the skin off her face. Which is why she was wearing a mask, that would completely destroy anyone
