this week i have some phos for you!! i actually watched houseki no kuni/land of the lustrous around the time the anime dropped-- and i've always wanted to draw fanart-- but i genuinely would just keep forgetting LOL but it's here now so that's cool!!
the first pic is just some test stuff. just to kind of practice how i'd like to draw phos. i was itching to try figuring out a way to get that gem effect for their hair because i thought it'd be fun, but is was def a bit of a struggle LOL. i was brainstorming some complex solutions but in the end it was the simplest setup that ended up working best (lots of polyline use!!!).
second pic is just a mock up for a print i'd like to make! i'm thinking about trying to get some gold foil for the drips of gold so i'm excited! i'm really found of the composition and the colors so i can't wait to get into it. :D
