22nd: Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Review
25th: ASUS TUF F15 Mini Review
I bought both of these laptops to cover. The Slim 5 is basically the popular Legion 5 from last year, but they added "Slim" into the name for some reason despite it not being slim at all. The TUF F15 is the same one I used in the ROG Ally vs Gaming laptop comparison, but it's also very popular on Amazon, so figured I'd find out why that's the case in it's own video.
The AMD vs M2 comparison last week was received fairly well, so I might do an Intel vs M2 next. I mean, half the testing is already done afterall :) the thing is, Intel doesn't seem to have any i9 processors in 14" laptops, at least when it comes to the Acer Triton 14, Alienware x14 and MSI Stealth 14 (what I currently have). So it will probably be 13700H vs M2 Max. I suppose i9 would be "fairer" in regards to having the best from Intel, but if there aren't any 14" laptops with an i9 then it doesn't really matter if the goal is to compare 14" laptops.
Otherwise, the time has finally come! I'm working on the full review of the XMG Neo 16 this week, hoping to have that video out next week. After that, most of the testing is done for the Dell G16 and Alienware x16, so those will follow. We just received the Acer Helios 18 and HP Victus, so those will follow after. This is like 6 weeks of work though, we aim to have one laptop review per week, it'll take some time to get through it all.
Unfortunately I never ended up getting the 7945HX3D laptop - hopefully this week. I just had confirmation the Scar 18 with i9-13980HX is available again, so at least we'll have that ready for some retesting in games to compare against the 3D (If it ever turns up).
