Dwarf Fortress 0.43.05 Released

Here are the first official 64-bit releases! This would not be possible without help from our community -- you can view the exciting and sometimes late-night discussion over in the 0.43.04 release thread if you want to see how the cake was baked. This release should also make worlds generated with the same seed more consistent, and it has a few other minor fixes we managed to sneak in.
New stuff
(*) 64-bit support, pulling the game from the distant past into the previous decade
Major bug fixes
(*) Fixed problem with artistic skill assignment causing world histories to diverge
(*) Fixed problem with worldgen trade causing world histories to diverge
Other bug fixes/tweaks
(*) Stopped babies/children from competing in w.g. events
(*) Made gorlaks able to open doors, stopped desizing of their heads
(*) Fixed some mem leaks

Your game has given me thousands of hours of enjoyment for free. Have a dollar on me, I know you guys deserve more than that, I've gotten the experience of a full, fleshed out game for free for so many years, and damn have they been great years. It still doesn't tarnish my love of the systems within. I have my moment with the release notes (I send the kids away, put on some nice music, draft a decent drink and settle in to have a 'moment') and its such a joy to get them :D This game is a treasure. You might know this, but it doesn't get said enough. You have inspired a generation of developers to see their deep ideas come to be and dream that dream. And it is my pleasure to see it continue but for this little contribution. I am certain I could never repay or find enough value for the intangible offerings this game has brought to my life and work. So thanks for being you!!! ;)
