New Sketch of "Royal Mail Aviary"
Added 2024-05-16 16:00:14 +0000 UTCHi everyone! These so called "Pigeonniers" have been a fascination of mine for a long time, and I want to draw one for the Royal Mail of Argenta. They were used to keep doves or pigeons in them, sometimes for messages, sometimes just for fertilizer. Which gave me the idea to draw something like this, but quirky and whimsical. The lineart will be rather thick compared to my usual work, I really want to force myself to make everything a bit bigger, leafs for example, or doorhandles. Just to give it more of that squishy comic-look that isn't too realistic.
May has been going well so far, I feel rather calm (which is unusual). Print sales have been low, but my normal job makes me completely relaxed about that fact. I don't want to imagine how anxious I'd probably get if I'd be dependant on art as a means of paying my expenses in life. ^^
I'll get back to you with the finished piece soon, I hope that you'll like it.

They're really the best option out there that I know of though, and the limited piece sold WAY more prints than ever before, so it made sense. I'm sorry that the situation is not ideal - I'll make sure to post next time there is free shipping πΏ

2024-05-16 18:21:55 +0000 UTCI'd love to buy some prints, it's Β£6 for a the smallest print but then Β£10 for postage π alright for a one off buy with lots of prints, but with the limited time releases, it makes it a little more challenging π
