New Sketch of a Street Scene

This will be a street in one of the cities of Argenta. I'm not sure yet what kind of small shop this will be, but it seems fun to draw such a scene in a city, and I'll definitely add some characters in there, at least the shopkeeper, and probably also our wizard who is buying from him. Two things I can't decide on yet - first of all the lighting. I'll probably aim for a rather golden light again, which would make the shadows long and blueish, but I don't know yet where the light should fall. I'll probably make the characters at the shop into the shadow, and have the light hit the main door and wall next to it.
The other thing is the lettering. I kind of love the idea to have some advertising there, ads can tell the viewer so much about the world and culture of this city. I should say the lettering isn't really the problem, it's more the language. I am still asking myself if I should keep it in English or in a fantasy language, but we'll see.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to drawing the wizard a bit more up close and personal, and I'll work in a cat laying next to the door. I recently adapted one of my brushes to be more "blocky", and I'm looking forward to working with it - it will be the first piece with this new brush, and I see a lot of potential for it, especially for the coloring. I'll have some time to draw on Wednesday and the weekend, so it will be spent in my room except for the walks with our dog. Expect this piece rather quick then :)
