New Artwork "Celestial Gift"
Added 2024-01-20 11:48:51 +0000 UTCHi everyone! This one was done really fast, it only took about 5 hours to finish it! I don't think that takes away from its look, but it was just way less complex than the usual stuff. Hitting the right colors with such dark values is extremely hard though, 1% shift in darkness feels like 5% - sometimes I felt like the iPad can't even pick up the ever so slight movement on the color picker that I'd like to do :D
This image pretty much "jumped" into my imagination when I read the following sentences from Adrian von Ziegler:
"A tear descended from the night-sky
And bestowed upon me a star
My Beloved"
Of course our small wizard doesn't miss this on his journey, and so here we are, wondering what the sky might have gifted to the islands of Argenta.
I actually have a few meteor-pieces in my possession, the thought of where they came from never stops fascinating me.

For the next piece, there might not be sketch, as it will be one of the very few times where I'll revisit a piece of mine and will change things around to make it better.
