Hi!
Today will be a pretty short one. This week I spent working on a scene that is kind of a bitch, a lot of custom poses, a couple of custom textures that needed to be created from scratch. And I also changed a bit my workflow.
Last week I complained about burnout from my actual work. Well, it turns out when you try to do a lot of things at the same time the brain kinda gets overwhelmed. I read/heard somewhere that there's no such thing as multitasking people, the only difference from person to person is the ability to change from single tasks to another on the fly without getting lost in the process. I have no idea how the brain works but this week I tried to only focus on my actual day jobs and separate a time to dedicate to the avn at either the start or the end of the day. I felt so much less drained. Trying to cram in a render or two while working was really taxing for some reason.
I reached 800 renders this week. There's still a lot of work to do but it's taking shape nicely. I keep getting stuck on minor stuff like how the eyes reflect light and minor adjustments. But looking at average renders per day of AVN development I'm on the lower speed side of things... I try not to compare myself too much to others because of different styles, circumstances and all that, but I'm not THAT far off so it's a bit reassuring.
That's it for today.
Hope you have a great weekend and hope this week's Miami GP is a good one instead of a snoozefest.
Cheers,
C.
