Wow.
If you had told me a year ago today that I would end up writing over a million words, over 400 chapters, of a science fiction epic that's been swimming around in my brain but never written down since I was a teenager, I would have laughed at you.
Now we're here.
I wrote a series so massive that even the Holiday Special chapters don't feel out of place. We've had little people become heroes, seen tragedy, triumph, defeat, victory, and much much more together.
I started writing this to help us all with lockdowns, at first believing that the lockdowns would only last a month or so, like originally cited. As the lockdowns dragged on, I kept writing, to keep up not only my spirits, but yours.
So, here we are.
So far, it's been amazing. I wanted to thank every one of you, who read this, who read the story on /hfy or Royal Road, and those who donate.
I don't know what the new year will bring, but I look forward to it.
Remember: As long as you're pulling air past your teeth, you're ahead of the game.
Together, we can get through anything.
Lots of love, everyone, from my family and me to you.
See you next year.
