Learning to take away space and not allow the opponent an opportunity to pummel an underhook could have changed the complexion of the fight. Although Sen was more efficient a lot of the rounds were chewed up defending on the wall. Also learning to be more balanced on the counter striking end would have led to better entries on shots and/or more effective shots. Sometimes we get caught watching which pulls us out of position. Instead lets move our feet to keep our distance and base.
