However, Richie got countered over the top of his jab multiple times by Lewis. Switching up the timing giving different looks while maintaining a good distance to jab from are key factors to keep in mind while working behind that lead hand. In the grappling department we have to avoid bottom half guard like its the plague and either be actively looking for a sweep or to create space to stand up and use the wall to defend. This alone would have killed Lewis' gas tank and led to an easier w.
