In this match up Bodoni is able to make adjustments in the second half of the match after Jay Rod has an impressive opening half. Bodoni is able to capitalize on a couple positions; Back mount, the Iranian, and bottom guard dealing with Jay Rod's under hook pass. What was impressive about this match up was how much success Jay had escaping and defending bad positions. Biggest takeaway is strong fundamentals lead high level grappling.
