Bivol sets traps with his lead hand by switching up the tempo on his jab, manipulating the guard, and jabbing the body and head. Bivol's best punch is his step back jab which he seems to land by pulling Canelo into it with a step back. This leads to the most fundamental of all combos the 1-2-1 which is Bivol's base combo that sets up other punches off the same package.
