Kegan has developed other areas of his game and didn't concede top positions in this fight like he has in the past. He racked up minutes of 'control time' on the wall and slowed down the pace of the fight. Things to take away from this fight. We need efficient exit strategies on the wall so we're not allowing our opponent to chew up clock and forcing the half guard to cook someone is a must once on top. The 2on1 or short cut would have been very effective in this one. Also maintaining head height with one leg à la Sean Brady vs Kelvin Gastelum might be a good style for a wrestling based style.
