Yesterday was exciting because the D’Ancey LaGuarde Reader hit 100% of the pre-sales/support required to make it financially viable as a project (they can afford to print it). More presales now will mean money to me and to the Bugle, which is pretty cool.

Thanks from the bottom of my bodice go to all the lovely people who have funded this delight of a book project. The campaign will be open right up to when it goes to print, which gives time for further friends, family and interested people to join in. My deadline for manuscript submission is the end of September so I’m going to get writing!

Speaking of writing, the weekly writers meeting and workshop has been so much fun every week, with people who have been working on both long and short form projects in genres that range from memoir to zines to novels, poetry, musicals and comedy.

Our own Iestyn is just launching his epic Arthurian poem, which we’ve been getting bits and pieces of each week in the workshop, and I’m excited to share it with you.
