I feel like TWIST is finally a show I’m proud of - Saturday night was awful, and Sunday transcendent, but generally it’s fallen into being what feels like a good show.

Same as all the shows I write, it’s a bit beyond my grasp, (because what’s the point of doing something easy) but I can already feel my muscles growing stronger so it feels less like I’m hanging on by my fingertips.

I’m definitely feeling a bit out of the way at Trades hall, but also that’s because I’m not doing much (any) festival socialising; feeling isolated from the community but it’s mainly my own fault for spending all my non-show time with Laser Fraser. Also, that rejection-sensitive thing where I assume it would be hassling people to invite them over for anything less professional than a podcast recording.

Having 2 teenage daughters, I found the episode with Nato really resonated. Thought provoking and enjoyable. Great job Alice.

I was in the Tuesday night show (some parts cheap, some ‘Tuesday is my in town work day’) and enjoyed it. Definitely leaves you with something to think about. As a punter Trades Hall does feel different. A similar venue to the Town Hall in structure but a more relaxed feel about it. An undiscovered gem.

This was a really great episode with Nato.

I saw the Monday night show and it was fantastic and heartfelt. Thank you for the joy and jokes.

Hi Alice - I really enjoyed Sunday night's show - you were (as always) fantastic. Again, you've left me with quite a bit to think about.

Coming to see Twist this Thursday. Can't wait!! Have had tickets booked for so long
