This Week’s Gigs

The live salon was genuinely lovely, and everything I could have hoped. A bunch of really nice people talking about things over tea. All of them have bodies that continue below their collarbones and sides and backs to their heads, too! Which I’d assumed but until today would not have been able to guarantee.

This week’s gigs are a very mixed bag. My favourite one will be Tuesday in Manchester, but I’m also doing a (last minutely booked) london preview in Honor Oak.

Sunday 10 July: Henley (30 minute spot)

10:15 pm at the Henley festival. The audience will be in black tie. I’ve spent all week freaking out about it. I haven’t worn anything fancier than leggings since I got pregnant. Also 10.15 at a festival, I anticipate the audience will appreciate some banjo songs, and maybe nothing tooooo tricky. Am I prejudiced against people who have been drinking all day in a cummerbund? Maybe.

Anyway, I’ve bought a jumpsuit and brushed off my late night black tie jokes, and now I’m kind of excited about it.

Come along if: you want to make me feel better about being desperately underdressed and not great at haw haw crowd-work.

Tuesday 12 July: Manchester

I’m doing a preview with Laura Davis at XS Malarkey. She’s great, her show is SO great, the venue is famously lovely, I have been looking forward to this since I left Australia and wasn’t sure it was going to happen until she landed this morning in London. I’ve missed her. CHRONOS is also a show I’m proud of and I am all round pretty happy about this.

Come along if: you possibly can. It’ll be a lovely time.

Thursday 14 July: Honor Oak, London

This is a last minute preview, I’m filling the slot after another act dropped out to do some television thing. I’m excited to have another London preview for people who can’t come to the (only other?) one at the end of the month.

Come along if: you’re in London and free on Thursday.

Tickets are £4 and can be found here.

Friday 15 July: Covent Garden, London

I’ll be doing a 10 minute spot at a lineup show which is at the Covent Garden Comedy Club.

Come along if: you’re in Covent Garden and keen on an array of good comedians including Darren Harriot, Fin Taylor and me.

Saturday 16 July: Guildford

I will be doing CHRONOS at the Guildford Comedy Festival. I haven’t checked ticket sales. I’m a bit nervous, but not as nervous as I was when I thought I was going to Wales the next day.

Come along if: you’re in or near Guildford and want to see me do CHRONOS, a show I’m very proud of.

Tickets are here.
