NFT 6: The Live Show
Added 2021-12-11 19:16:07 +0000 UTCI did a live show on Thursday, six weeks after giving birth. It was probably a silly idea but it was definitely an interesting artistic experiment, and I found it so lovely and my insides didn’t fall out, so I count it as a win.

Congratulations for your show! Wow! Your daughter sounds so sweet when she eats. I remember those moments so fondly. I played a (Baroque violin chamber music) concert when my now tween was 8 weeks -- meaning rehearsing at a colleague's for the week prior, pumping in my colleague's teenage son's bedroom (weird to be surrounded by hockey posters)... But I did it. And it was OK. I was completely exhausted, and almost lost crucial focus several times in the show (forgetting how to count as a musician is not good...) You've accomplished something epic in my opinion. Take good care!

It's really lovely to hear your account of what definitely sounds like a win. I think you've done an absolutely remarkable job of producing work at such a high level so soon after giving birth - recent episodes of The Bugle and The Gargle have been really fun listens. My favourite moment in this NFT is towards the end when you respond to The Grumlet as though she's said it's time for you to stop. Just for a moment you weren't so much NFTing to us as being in conversation with her.
