Love and distance

We’re about to head into the doldrums of the year; that strange period around the new year when there’s suddenly time to reflect and think about the past and the future.
I hope along the celebrations and traditions and busywork of being, distracting yourself with all the marvellous art and terrible fun trashy content and conversations and opinions and work that is work and work that isn’t work that you can also find a minute to yourself to be melancholy and reflective and not at all fun, just a person.
