Ordinarily the 'audition' process for my guests involves me having had at least one extraordinarily interesting conversation with them, and then asking them to come and do the podcast.
In this instance, I met him on spec, and it turned out to be incredibly fascinating. We chatted for about half an hour before I turned the mics on, and I had no hesitation in doing so. He's got some truly unusual and challenging takes on the world, and I had a blast. Let me know what you think.
