Lastly. They are definitely the problem but Carol has gotta chill. Say this all gets fixed in sure those 11 million plus people would've liked to be fixed too. IJS

Also I think of course this is bad but we are viewing this through Carol's eyes. Her wife died. If you were like the other individuals and nobody died you probably wouldn't be AS aggro as Carol is cause you'd talk to each other then call your family and while itd definitely be freaky as hell you'd be eased into it a lot more and probably ask way more questions. Now why would you believe them but still.

Thanks again guys.

I've seen other people say this but i dont really agree with it. I think its as simple as Carol is angry and upset because she watched her wife die in front of her and she only died because of the hive mind. The others still have their family members and it's easy to just fall in place and pretend everything is fine because no one would want to accept the fact that their family is technically dead, especially when you still see their bodies are alive and are playing their roles. They dont want to address how horrifying the situation they are in is.

Really loving the show so far! My interpretation is that the group of six and their reactions represent a broader metaphor about American individualism and selfishness. Carol has such a strong sense of self that she becomes outraged when the others are not “fighting” for their own identities. She never stops to consider their perspectives and immediately assumes her response is the correct response. Imo, many other cultures have a stronger sense of group connection than American culture typically has (speaking as an American), so the idea of being part of a shared identity is not as threatening to others as it is to Carol. This certainly isn't the only theme being explored, just what I'm picking up!
