I Thought You Should Know More: The September Follow-up

If it's been the one reason I've been trying to push out as many YoursTrudy comics as I can, it's because I may need time to recuperate. Time to recover. To come to terms of living with my new future.

Hello again. It is now September, and ten days before my scheduled surgery to stem infection in my pelvic bone and lose my leg in the process.

I have some updates if you're interested. I'm in good hands. I'll be operated on by some of the best in the country. A team of four surgeons will see to this major surgery, surgeons who just worked on another patient, doing the exact same thing.

I've been told that I'll be put in the ICU post-surgery, to ensure I recover safely from this. And that it will take 3 weeks to heal up, and perhaps a little more, to rehabilitate.

I don't know how my ward conditions will be like, or when I'll be well enough to get my hands on this computer again to draw things, and if I'll be in a ward where it'll be safe for me to stash a MacBook without getting it stolen.

It is with these unknowns after the surgery, and prepping my mental condition before the surgery, that I have to suspend all commissions. And perhaps only pick it up when I feel I can take in your demands once more. Maybe in October.

I once again am asking for you all to send the good vibes my way, though I'm confident I'll come out of the other side.
