He drank lapsang souchong and I had some jasmine green tea (I know I'm predictably green-tea based life-form). We talked about Grenfell, the economy of attention, deep long held carrot resentment, sharks, terrorism, trans suicide rates, road rage for cyclists and the lack of hope that seems to be a bit pervasive nowadays.
