Today I woke up way too early, given that I didn't get to bed til 4. I woke up to say bye to my excellent friend Victoria, who had come to Edinburgh for the weekend, and was going out on the early (11am is early, okay) train.
Then I went and walked up Arthur's Seat, and ended up slipping on a piece of grass that decided to heckle my foot. I banged up my knee, which is annoying given how much I need my knees for walking places and bending appropriately. Hoping it'll be better by tomorrow, as I'm averaging about 19kms a day of walking and occasionally sprinting around Edinburgh like an idiot. The view was pretty good though. So, totally worth it.
Then I went and watched a student play, which wasn't very good so I won't name it.
Then I did The Resistance to a lovely, warm, slightly undersized audience, before dashing across to The Pleasance to see John Hastings, who has an incredibly good and hilariously funny show. One long, absorbing narrative, a LOT of jokes, and a very impressive use of the space he's in and his body in that space. I recommend it.
Then I went back to The Gilded Balloon to do some finger-guns networking and swing by to give the Massaoke guys a hug.
Tomorrow's a busy day, so I'd better eat something and get some sleep. If I eat something now, that'll be two whole meals in one day! Well done Fraser.
Til tomorrow, punks.
