Today I woke up and went over to The Free Sisters to do
lineup show.
Then I went over the bridge to Newtown. I bought some tea and also shoes (for later). I bumped into Craig Quatermaine in the shoe shop and we had a lovely chat.
Then I went down to The Caves to do the Around The World show, before heading to meet Lisa Skye for a podcast. (coming up soon!)
Then I headed to do The Resistance at The Gilded Balloon. I was nervous, because this Wednesday is notoriously the hardest for ticket sales across the whole fringe, but I had a delightful little audience and enjoyed the gig.
GoogleMaps says it takes 6 minutes to walk from The Gilded Balloon to Just The Tonic, but I made it in the 5 minutes between The Resistance finishing at 9.15 and Stand-Up and Slam starting at 9.20.
GoogleMaps says it takes 13 minutes to get from Just The Tonic to The Spiegeltent in The Meadows. I made it in time to get from Stand Up and Slam to Sweatshop, where I got to watch some amazing burlesque and cabaret, and then did 5 minutes of my best comedy jokes while running on an increasingly speedy treadmill.
Then I headed home to upload my podcast (SD CARD FOUND!) and write up this blog, and get a start on my SBS Comedy Article for the week.
BIG DAY!
