Patrons: You're All Appreciated
Added 2019-07-12 11:35:23 +0000 UTCFirst, let me start off by saying that this isn't a begging post. If anything there are better causes on Patreon. I just thought all of you would like to know where your contributions go.
I see my doctor at the hospital every 6-12 weeks, and along with consultation, there are lab tests to assess my well-being, and my antibiotic prescription. Here's a sample of my most recent bill.
That's Singapore dollars (US$0.75 to a dollar), and yes, the government takes care of some of that, along with supply of generic medications.
Sometimes, your contributions also go to groceries (although the bastards at the online supermarket don't accept PayPal anymore). I still work, because art is a hobby, but know that your pledges, does make things easier.
But please, if you have your own financial obligations, take care of yourself first.
