In a way, I see it as a “life goes on” anthem, and that even though hard things have happened, the speaker has still accomplished a lot. She’s gotten drunk on skylines and made herself a myth while still retaining her reality. And even though the world has “bent double from weeping” there’s still hope in the future. Also here to comment for the next analysis you’ll want to do both “My Love” and “Restraint” as the latter is very short :)
