Pre-Supported figure-scale minis?
Added 2023-01-14 20:25:36 +0000 UTCHeyo! I was going to gauge interest in providing a pre-supported sliced and keyed figure scale version of some minis each month and I was curious if that's something you all would be interested in.
Poll should be fixed now

Please pick an option and leave a comment below on what minis you'd want to have supported and sliced for large scale
Also fyi it's not much more work for me I just didn't know if you cared for that.

2023-01-15 02:58:13 +0000 UTCJoanne the cleric at figure scale would be pretty cool, but as I recall, she was already in pieces.

2023-01-15 00:52:37 +0000 UTCI loved the Magical Girl series, I'd get figure scale for them.

2023-01-15 00:13:03 +0000 UTCThey'd be taking the minis he's created and just make a figure alternative version of them. Not really taking focus away from anything.

2023-01-15 00:11:25 +0000 UTCPre-supported means the files are alreasy supported and ready to print when delivered. Sliced and keyed means the file is cut into multiple parts, ex: head, body, arms and legs. Helps with printing larger.

2023-01-15 00:08:18 +0000 UTCSorry can someone help explain: * What is pre-supported vs with support or without support * sliced and keyed, I assume this is just multiple parts * How big is figure scale?

2023-01-14 23:46:15 +0000 UTCAs long as it is added as an extra and doesn't take away from the quality/quantity of the minis we get each month, then sure! But if it will takes the focus off the minis then definitely no.

2023-01-14 23:21:02 +0000 UTCI like the option
2023-01-14 23:14:51 +0000 UTCI'll be honest I can't ever envision printing out one at figure scale. 76mm yes, bit not full figure.

2023-01-14 20:49:16 +0000 UTCI almost always print at like 230% to have stuff as figure sized anyways. So far I've found that most of these large models haven't needed slicing for my personal needs, they fit on my build plate and since they are scaled up there has been plenty of room for supports to get to the important parts of the model. Cherry the goblin and Ceriwyn the Elf have been some of my favourites so far, others might appreciate those being supported π
