Pinups?

We get a lot of pretty ladies here. I can say I find almost all of them tastefully done. The others are playfully done. TG does excellent work on faces, and on different body types. She let's us choose the minis every month. A pinup option is popular, but it may also be a kind of fun project for our artist. Like the three imps having 2 different sculpts this month. She isnt saying all pinups. She is saying one a month. I support it, and any extra sculpts we can get of her beautiful work and wild or whimsical ideas.

Also talking about NSFW, if you do any, do not EVER show any in any public posts - that's a strict no-go for patreon apparently (at least one other sculptor got complaints about that)

Aye, I've never been into bust sculpts... to me they're just models missing massive parts of themselves (ie, arms and legs). I get the desire for a bigger (and therefore more detailed) model, but I think a whole model at that size would look much better. I guess some people want that but don't have the room for the whole thing?

Like if every Patreon had to produce anthro ducks to be economically competitive, and one is not interested in anthro ducks, it’s just sort of… a thing one can ignore, but it’s a lot of ducks I don’t care about taking a lot of human hours to produce.

My concern is that time is finite, my interest in miniatures is for gaming more than titillation, and there are a lot of pin-up minis out there already. I see a lot of sexualization available all over in miniatures. I get the pressure on artists to provide content that draws more patrons, and if I were making models, I’d be very tempted to make it part of the business plan. I realize that having more patrons might mean better income for artists, the ability to expand staff, etc. I mean, we were asked. I don’t want to see more overtly sexually provocative miniatures from this Patreon. To each their own, but man, I am not taking the time to paint pin-ups. So it’s just an opportunity cost for the artists’ time, for my part.

I'd be interested in pinups that either: are male, or are of underrepresented body types (size, musculature, and especially cup size). Sexy/lewd is overall fine! I only get annoyed if there's a clear... lack of agency, for a better word? You know, not the "oops, I'm naked" pose where they are hiding their nudity and looking ashamed/scared/etc.?

I don't think it's necessary tbh, and would create more work if anything. Voting so far shows the overwhelming majority want them. I think just having 'NSFW' clearly labelled in any preview posts to prevent people opening unsafe things at work (even though really, they should be doing whatever actually they're being paid to do, not opening patreon emails :P ). And anyone who doesn't want the lewd versions of models (assuming there's a clothed and unclothed version), can just... delete the file they don't want (or just not print it).

I think it's safe to say that you're one of the best artists out there when it comes to the female form (for 3d print etc). Such an elegant style, cute and curvy. Absolutely adore it, and is why I keep coming back. I also think that so long as a pinup makes sense, and has a 'normal clothed version' too, then there really isn't anything to lose with it (like with the goblin on throne, she's got a 'full dress' version and a 'less clothing' version). Succubus' in general are sex-daemons, so it makes sense to have topless versions of them too for those that want that. But yes, I'm all for tastefully done pinups (topless preferred)

I kind of already view a lot of releases as pin-ups, but that's the appeal. So, uh, I don't care. But I would like more males in general (since the ones you've made before are great and I'm a big fan of your faces) and I would like SFW options. The SFW options from before are just right, a lower mark I'd also be happy with is a Barbie anatomy option.

Well, there have been some "very pinup" models in the past, so why not make it official part of the "monthly offering"? For those who don't like pinups, maybe there will be "less pinup" options of the same models, and maybe more backers, and eventually more monthly models. Maybe also make "Larger scenery piece" also official monthly thing? There's been dragon throne, food cart, goblin throne etc.

I agree with some of the feels here. I will continue to support TGM as you are my favorite creator. I would love to have some fun goblin pin-ups but i do not want that to be the only thing we get. Your team does amazing work. i want to see everything you can create.

If I do start making them I will make sure to make sure that they are tasteful and all inclusive. I'm also looking into ways to make it so people who don't want to see them can opt out (maybe a new tier?)

While I can understand the trepidation re: "going down the pinup road", the artistic quality of your sculpts insofar as body-positive figures is what drew me to your Patreon and why I consider your style to be one of the best in the space today! Ah, man. I see I'm in the minority here, but I'm disappointed to see TGM going down the pinup road. I'm not particularly prudish and I think there's a place for them, but when they're added to a project the culture shifts, if that makes sense. Suddenly all of the female characters are "on the menu" as sex objects (and let's be real, it'll always be the female characters). As a woman I found TGM to be a bit of fresh air in a boys club hobby. But the writing's on the wall; enjoy your tiddies, kids!
