Not necessarily bro. If I’m not mistaken the story of the top 5 was its own separate timeline. This story just picks up after goku and Vegeta’s fight with granola and then meeting black frieza for the first time. This is after frieza left to go train more and spare goku and vegeta to get stronger. And they’re simply just having broly train while also trying to help him maintain control. All of the stories leading up to Top 5 sequel are just different timelines and their own separate stories. Alex if you see this and I’m wrong correct me on it. But I’m pretty sure that’s how he explained all future stories he posts until the sequel
