Redoing the Jellybean Saga: Part 5

THE THRILLING CONCLUSION!

So here we are, doing the final page of this three parter. Once again, here are the originals to refresh your memory.

The first panel was easy, I knew I wanted to split them with a sort of lightning-strike jagged pattern. The next panel(s) were harder, because I had a hard time fitting the text in a way that made me happy, but I ended up going with these tall, centered panels.

I also forgot to add to the last post that I ended up making Cecily a sprite where she's wearing a backpack! Since she's supposed to be returning home from class, I thought it was a cute detail to include.

In this page, she got two hand edits for this sprite--

And I thought it'd be a cute reference if in the opening panel, where she's looking at Courtney with suspicion, I reused her "focused face" from the page called "Seeing Double."

I played with the idea of keeping Courtney's face, too, but I ended up not liking it. I wanted her to look more mischievous.

Lastly, I gave Cecily's final pose some TLC. I really liked Courtney's though, so I kept it! I also added this white border around them and a drop shadow, making them look kind of like stickers. I think it's super cute.
