Yorica: Evolving your Starters!! Again!!

These have been in the works for SO long so I'm happy to finally say they're done!! And now that you've seen their final forms, I'm wondering if your starter choice has changed at all! Were they what you expected or did they surprise you?

YESSS super interesting to see your thoughts!! The samurai resemblance with Hydraconda was unintentional (it was more based on a firefighter helmet and a cobra hood) but I 100% see the resemblance LOL And haha it is usually a struggle to make Pokemon with clothes work, but luckily with Grass types we can use the "its plants" cheat code!

2025-08-06 03:41:46 +0000 UTCWell damn, all 3 look really good. Hydraconda ended up with more samurai detailing than expected. Awesome typing though which is nice. Smoldursa went above and beyond my expectations, definitely scary at first sight but I would love to see it acting all nice with it's trainer. Desperrodo makes the "pokemon wearing clothes" trope look pretty damn good. I like that you kept the cloth to natural elements, looks really nice on them. Also neat eye designs on all 3.
