January's Questline Monthly Theme Poll

Each month we'll have a poll to vote on the theme for the upcoming issue of Questline Monthly. Please read the descriptions of each theme below and vote for your favorites down below! You can choose more than one theme if you'd like and keep in mind there can only be one winner! But don't worry, if your theme doesn't win it will carry over to the next month!

The poll will end on the 25th and the winner will be declared the chosen theme!

Food Theme

Once a year, an archfey with an appetite for exotic cuisine host an event known as the Feywild Feast. The world's greatest chefs travel to the archfey's manor to offer one dish of their choosing to the archfey. After the archfey samples hundreds of masterfully prepared dishes featuring the rarest and most exotic ingredients from across the planes, he chooses one dish that is superior to the rest. Each year the archfey grants the chef whose dish is chosen a wish for their reward.

The chefs who fail to impress the archfey with their culinary skills have their dishes animated and brought to life by the archfey to attack them. Before returning to the Feywild, the archfey savors his chosen dish and watches the spectacularly chaotic display before him.

Gold & Greed Theme

Hundreds of years ago, an ancient red dragon named Mammon claimed the city as his and created a lair beneath it. Mammon instilled fear in the residents and demanded that they pay a tax of gold or else he would lay ruin to the city, killing all the residents. Throughout the years, Mammon demanded more and more from the residents forcing them to find ways to make the city more successful or face his wrath.

Generations later, the city is known for its gambling and world-class entertainment. Every day hundreds of thousands of gold pieces exchange hands throughout the city. Mammon continues to collect a tax unbeknownst to all except the Cult of the Coin that keep Mammon and the city's origins a secret from others. Viewing Mammon as more of a deity than a threat, the cultists give offerings of gold to him in secrecy. So that they may continue to feed the dragon gold, keeping it from annihilating the city and saving those who are oblivious of the threat below them.
