The reaction Rob and Bryce had to that pitiful, borderline violent "performance" by Chase the first time he and Kya are in bed together is 100% relatable. That scene made me feel so icky. A little detail some people overlook that is a popular theory: Kya taking the shell necklace she made back off of Chase's body is her symbolically taking back what he temporarily took from her. He took her dignity by lying to her their entire relationship, and he took her power/safety by making her fearful after violating her. Murdering Chase wasn't revenge; it was Kya following nature's laws of survival. Also, Tate tossing it into the water after Kya's secret is revealed is him essentially saying he's going to take his wife's secret to the grave, as the shell gets lost in the tide.
