Agreed with Jess here - in the manga, there ARE NO "top 5" its just him. In the anime, he is said to have ONE of THE five highest battle powers in the multiverse (positioning himself assumingly as number 1 with 4 possible others, whom are probably angels, behind him)

The manga never said that the Grand Priest was the number 1 most powerful fighter in the Multiverse, in fact, I thought he might be the 5th strongest, which would have been interesting for further story development. It just wouldn't make sense for Goku to be in the top 5 strongest amongst the multiverse at least, not right now with the current training he has.Goku doesn't have the life span for it. When you're dealing with mortality, and immortality, a being that can live forever, there could literally be beings that are millions or even billions of years old and that's just the start. I haven't went to Centillion, which would open up a new world in itself. I should write a manga. If I did, it would literally be a world in itself. I would literally be writing a book!

No doubt about it that the GP has an Apex Omni Tier power level even though in his state as we know him he’ll still be untouchable he will still have something relating back to the merno arc even the omni kings have an apex power level as mentioned by Alex in his story this will no doubt be true in the canon DB series.
